As the third engine plant, located in Binhai New Area, Tianjin, it features 6 production lines: cylinder block, lower block, cylinder head, crankshaft, assembly and cold/hot test.
Two engine platforms: EG1.5T & EB1.5T gasoline engines.
13 production models in total: 8 discontinued, 5 in production.
Machining Workshop
Equipped with 8 production lines, mainly Japanese and German equipment, with an average automation rate of 70%.
Core Process (Follow-up Grinding Process)
It adopts high-precision, multi-axis follow-up grinding for crankshaft journals with a positioning accuracy of 0.0001 mm, enabling simultaneous grinding of main journals and connecting rod journals, greatly improving efficiency.
Independently developed information-based error-proofing systems including Andon system and loop-back error-proofing system. Key error-proofing procedures apply Artis monitoring and Marposs online measurement technology.
Assembly & Test Workshop
2 production lines, average automation rate 30%.
Core Process
Cold test process, intelligent camera omnidirectional inspection process and leak test process (using high-precision leak detectors from France ADTEC and Germany FLORIS), automatic tightening and gluing by industrial robots, etc.
Error-proofing technologies: multi-point machine vision, tooling + photoelectric sensors, special function sensors (color, displacement, laser, distance), AI vision error-proofing system (hand dynamic recognition), etc.
